Season 2012/13
Following the interest generated by the foray into the MWL in 2011/12, three teams entered Grade 5 for season 2012/13 with mixed fortunes.
Team 'A' topped their league over Nenagh 'B' and went on to defeat Ballyhooley 3-1 in the first round of the knock-out. They lost the next round 2-3 at home to Douglas, the winners of 'C' Team's league. Their success both at team and individual level moved them to Grade 4.
Team 'B' lost out on progressing to the knock-out phase by 3 points, finishing third in their league with some hard-fought matches.
Team 'C' remained firmly ensconced at the bottom position, enjoying the competition and putting it down to experience. Bloodied but unbowed.
